About me
Hi, I’m Laura.

I would love to help you on your birthing journey using the knowledge and experience I've gained over the last 6 years of parenting and becoming a Mentored Birthbliss Birth Doula.

Having gone through three very different pregnancies, births and postnatal periods myself, I am passionate about the incredible miracle that is growing and birthing a baby, and I want to support you to achieve contentment in your birthing experience. Setting you up for the best possible start to your life together.
I have no agenda and no judgment about your decisions as a parent. I want you to do what feels right for you every step of the way, from advocating for yourself during your pregnancy, making informed, evidenced-based choices at your birth, to owning your parenting decisions.

Friends and family describe me as caring, loyal, and empathetic, slightly messy, (sometimes) annoyingly organised, and definitely always thinking about food!

I worked for British Tennis and then Marie Curie before having my three boys. They are 5, 4, and 1, and I love being their mum, albeit I don't always love the noise levels, the mess and the lack of sleep!
I’m a practical sort of person, I am very proud of the shed I built last year in my garden, I love to sit and do colouring with my kids and I am currently taking a lot of pleasure in improving my Parkrun stats.
